Meet Dr. Tyler King

Dr. Tyler King is a distinguished oral surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional care and transforming lives through advanced oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques. A Missouri native, Dr. King completed his undergraduate training at the esteemed University of Nebraska- Lincoln, where he excelled both in academics and athletics. As a dedicated student-athlete, he showcased his talents on the baseball field for four years while earning a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science.

Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dr. King pursued his dental education at the renowned Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health. During his time there, he earned prestigious accolades including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS) Dental Student Award and the AAOMS Dental Implant Student Award, reflecting his exceptional skill and dedication to the field.

Continuing his journey of excellence, Dr. King completed a one-year internship and intensive four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program through the University of Arizona at
Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix. Throughout his residency, he received comprehensive training in various aspects of maxillofacial surgery, including complex dental implant oral reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma reconstruction, management of severe head and neck infections, benign and malignant maxillofacial pathology, orthognathic jaw surgery, and temporomandibular joint surgery.

Committed to providing the highest standard of care, Dr. King is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support, ensuring the safety and well-being of his patients at all times.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. King finds joy in outdoor recreational activities, including hiking, running, and water skiing on the lake. He cherishes moments spent with family and friends, often hosting outdoor cookouts to savor good food and great company.
